Experienced Veterinary Technician

GVVC is hiring for a Full time or Part time veterinary technician with surgical experience.  We are a 4 doctor practice that offers Primary care, Urgent care, Radiology, Laser, Dentistry and Surgery.

2 years experience in a small animal setting and experience in surgery is recommended.

This fast paced veterinary clinic is looking for a team player for 25-30 hours per week.  Requirements are that being able to lift 50#and stand for several hours at a time, be able to multitask, problem solve and be detail oriented. 

Surgical technician abilities needed are surgical monitoring, pre and post care, instrument care and sterilization, Radiology positioning ,venipunture and IV catherization, dentistry and be able to assit doctors in rooms.  

Hours are primarily morning with the occasional evening.  No weekends required 

Salary is based on experience
