Veterinary Technician

We are Greenwich Valley Veterinary Clinic.  We have served the West Warwick community for over 30 years.  Our 4 doctor practice is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team.  

Canidates must have 1-2 years experience and have abitlity to multi task in a fast paced environment.  Technicians must be friendly and have ability for restraining and handeling of animals, lift 50 pounds,  assist veterinarians with patient care and treatments, have computer knowledge, especially with the program Cornerstone from Idexx, maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, be engaging for client education, able to use Idexx in house lab machines and give fluid therapy and injections while doing technician visits.  Some surgical experience ,as well as, iv cath placement, blood draws and assisting with surgical experience is valued.  Laser therapy certifications and xray placement is also a valued assett.
